According to www.troubledteen101.com, cyber bullying is now a growing trend in the online world. Now children, preteens and teenagers have become more active online through social media websites and channels. Due to this, Cyber bullying has emerged.

Cyber bullying takes place in the online world so it isn’t real, but the consequences, both emotional and physical, can become real. Emotional cyber bullying is scarring since it involves humiliation. Cyber bullying in some cases, has blended into the “real world” with harassment continuing offline.

It is important to note that cyber bullying occurs between minors. Cyber bullying is not limited to the internet. It includes digital technology like cell phones texting by minors or groups of minors to embarrass, torment, threaten, harass, or target another minor. This does leaves scars, since online “friends” as well offline friends can see the abuse.

There has been a recent movie that came out about cyber bullying. The movie is called Cyber Bully. This film hopes to delete digital drama in the society. The movie is about a girl that is bullied online by her classmates. The girl soon finds herself becoming a victim of cyber bullying on a social website.

She becomes afraid to face her friends including her best friend, which leads her to a breaking point where she almost commits suicide by overdosing herself with pills.

Our source noted her mother learned from the incident and sued the school system and state legislation to prevent others from going through the same problems as her daughter. This shows how powerfully words can affect the mind and soul of a person. Cyber bullying can ruin the social life and self esteem of its victims.
