Fashion for prom 2013

Prom is all about making a statement and standing out from the crowd. Fashion and style are the name of the game. This year’s fashion direction for ladies is glamorous. There are many gowns to have fun in, and yet stay comfortable and flirty. The trend for this season is towards the much bolder and brighter colored gowns. Pastel colored outfits are on the clearance racks because they are part of last season’s prom fodder. Wearing washed out colors like springtime Easter eggs is out. Sparkling glamor with intense colors are in. You can even place glowing items on your dress for added emphasis. Accessory options will allow you to make your own statement on a dress. Glitter and glamour are the ideal for this prom season.

A lengthy chapel train or perhaps a gown using a duster style would definitely make you “float” on your prom night. This outfit is comprised of a corset top which provides the best fit and a froufrou skirt that offers a cute effect for the wearer. This combination is something that ads height to shorter prom goers. Gradient colored gowns will also be a sexy and upcoming craze. It looks dip dyed, unusual and attractive. Do not limit yourself to the standard colors and washed out colors of yester years. Surely prom dresses for 2013 will be edgier, funkier and eye popping without sacrificing style and class. One word of caution, don’t go over the top.

You can still have your date match you, but you don’t want to look like clowns. One last word of advice for you and your date, walking into the prom together, keep the air conditioning on in the car if you don’t want your corsage to be dead by the time you walk into prom.
