Meditation Club: Release Your Stress

By Kimberly Martinez

Are you stressed out? Do you like to meditate? If so then you should come and join the Meditation Club, which is directed by PHS teacher Ms. Bohomolec.

The club meets every Thursday in room M231 at 2:40 p.m. All students and staff are welcome to join. Come and release all of your stress through meditation. Let your inner self have peace and release your mind and body from all the negativity.

The Meditation Club usually has time for four different meditations. Group members are in a seated at desks set up in a circle. The meditations are done be a visual guide, that is both helpful and beneficial to high school students as well as staff members. They are relaxing, calming and soothing.

It is far more than a club in which they simply meditate; it is a way to be stress-free and negativity-free.

The Meditation Club has already done a meditation session with the Octagon Club and is hoping that in the near future they are able to meditate with the Future Meds Of America Club.

If you are ever free on Thursday, you should stop by and try it. Maybe it is for you or maybe it isn’t. But trust me, it is worth every minute of your time.
