One of the most famous movies of the 90’s, Jumanji, has made a comeback, a remake with a twist.

The remake film, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, released in theaters on December 20, 2017 stars Nick Jonas, The Rock, Karen Gillan, Jack Black and Kevin Hart.

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is about a group of high school students that  get detention for various reasons and their punishment is to clean up an old school room full of junk. This room is where they discover the old board game from the original movie only to then decide to give it a try.

Once the students pick their avatars, the game absorbs them and they turn into the characters. At this point, it’s just a fight for survival. The only way to win the game is to make it out alive.

Usually,  comedies aren’t too funny, they’re boring or childish, but this movie will have you in a whirl of emotions. From crying of laughter to scared to crying with a pounding heart. this movie is worth your while; it’s also worth the expensive popcorn and drinks.

If you’re a movie person, the Jumanji remake would be a top pick on any list. If you’re more of a show person and like binge watching for the anticipation, this movie is also one to watch.  See it for yourself!
