Variety marks Club Fair

On October 30, 2017, PHS Clubs were given the opportunity to show students what their clubs are all about. The club fair took place in the Auxiliary Gym and lasted all day.

Organizers were Mr. Graham and Ms. Ament, who went above and beyond to make sure that every club had a chance to show what they are about.

Students were all given the opportunity to go and explore the different clubs, that had all set up tremendous tables all special to the club’s focus. Students were able to go during their lunch and gym/naval science periods. There was never a languid moment.

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE)

Although, the students did grow weary after a few periods of moving around and promoting their clubs; they smiled and laughed the whole day and never showed anything less than love and passion for their club. Each club had something different to offer all students that came, and those interested received all the information they might have needed including meeting dates and the club’s focus and activities.

Throughout the day guests such as the principal and assistant principals, and even some members of the Board of Education, came to the gym and walked around, asking the students questions and giving them compliments on their outstanding work.
