It is that time of the school year again! The musical is finally here! Join us on our road to “Chicago!” The frisky musical will take place in Passaic High School’s auditorium on June 7 through June 9. Remember to get your tickets. We are sure you think that last year’s musical was great, but just wait until you see this one!
To prepare for the show, the cast members practice for very long hours. They are taught and guided by the team of Mr. Rusca (director), Mrs. Gauthier (choir teacher), Ms. Merced (cheer coach), Mr. Anderson (drama teacher), Rick Delancy (choreographer and costume), and Jennifer Sanchez (choreographer).
Being in the musical has taught us a lot about embracing our roles as performers and about the ins and outs of musical theatre. This experience is helping us shape our growing professional habits and it is constantly challenging us to do the best we can and become the best we know we can be. When you love what you do, it stops feeling like we have to do it. We learn about what we love because we want to.
