PHS Elects a Slate of Student Council Representatives

By Edna Rios

The Student Council is a body of students who are elected by their peers to address school issues and organize school activities and events.

Students at PHS have often wanted to have a representative voice to address perceived issues, but there was often no outlet for this.

Student Council is offered in both public and private schools at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, for the purpose of addressing the needs and wishes of students.
Of course students are not going to get everything they want. That would be just silly. But, there are things that students can do to make their career at PHS better for themselves.

So if you want to make a difference to help make this place more to your liking, to make it better, to make PHS one of the best school districts in the state, then participate. You can let one of the new representatives, listed below, what your idea is and hopefully, things will happen.
