Everyone had a great time during Ladies Night. Photos by Mrs. Soto.

Everyone dreams about going to prom and having fun. Seeing your friends for the last time in a formal setting, saying goodbye to them and to the school where we have spent so much time is just one of the things that we as seniors all look forward to.
However, things are not as cheap as they used to be and between the cost of the tickets and then getting your hair done, and maybe rent a car for the evening, and of course the shoes, and all the other things that need to be bought and you get a very expensive evening.
On May 11, the Senior Class advisors, Mrs. Soto and Mrs. Bonilla, were able to provide FREE prom dresses with jewelry for our senior class. These dresses were donated from various sources and allow senior students from PHS to get some of their prom essentially for free. This not only helps many girls find a dress instead of buying one, but it may be the difference between having a prom night to remember forever or not.
Mrs. Bonilla said, “The idea was to help students get the things they need for a prom night, but to do it in a fun way.”
That was the idea behind the Ladies Night. Students who attended had a great time looking for the perfect prom dress, being with friends and building the memories that will last a lifetime.
